In a population of 380,000 — statistically 15,000-20,000 LGBT (at 4-5%). Where are they? Some — in silence (married, children, farm, inner hell). Some left (Rumspringa → didn't return → not because of cars, but because of impossibility of being themselves). Some in communities that 'don't ask.'
If Discovered
Repentance. Prayer. 'Healing.' If not 'healed' — Meidung (but rarely for orientation — more for 'behavior'). Practically: the topic is so taboo that most Amish lack words to describe it. 'That doesn't happen among us' — standard response. It does. Silently.
