Next-gen batteries (more powerful, cheaper → more LED, better lanterns). Bioplastic (replace wood in some products — cheaper, but... wooden chair is better). Drones (finding lost livestock? debatable).

Electric vehicles (replaces horse → no). Smartphones (internet → no). Robots (replace labor → no). AI (replaces thinking → definitely no).
Only Certainty
Amish will decide slowly. Observe. Discuss. Vote. As for 300 years. World rushes. Amish don't. And so far — Amish are right more often than the world.
