Tractor replaces horse. Horse = slow = community stays close. Tractor = fast = community sprawls. Plus: tractor plows 40 acres/day. One farmer. No neighbors needed. Horse = 5 acres = need help = need community.
Why Generator — Yes
Generator stays in workshop. Doesn't drive on road. Doesn't replace horse. Runs compressor → pneumatics → furniture. Furniture = income = family fed. Practicality > principle.
