Rules
No indoor toilet (outhouse). No hot water. No linoleum (wood floors only). No buggy reflectors (orange = worldly). Hand washing only (machine = laziness). No gas appliances (wood and kerosene only).
Conflicts
With law: refusing SMV triangle → fines → courts. With other Amish: Swartzentruber consider Old Order 'too progressive.' Old Order consider Swartzentruber 'too strict.'
